Pupils will take part in an exciting D. Glas session led by Tilbury Douglas Contractors, giving them the chance to learn about construction, engineering, and the skills involved in creating safe, sustainable buildings. During the session, pupils will explore real‑world examples, handle age‑appropriate materials, and take part in interactive activities that will help them understand how construction projects take shape. The team will talk about different roles within the industry and inspire pupils to think about future pathways linked to STEM. It will be a hands‑on, informative experience that brings learning to life and strengthens pupils’ understanding of the world of work.

No Outsiders Day is a joyful celebration of inclusion, belonging, and the belief that everyone has a place in our community. Throughout the day, pupils and staff come together to explore what it truly means to live in a world where differences are welcomed, respected, and valued.
The event features a range of activities designed to spark conversation and build understanding—story sessions, creative workshops, collaborative projects, and reflective discussions that highlight themes such as kindness, respect, identity, and empathy. Each activity encourages pupils to think about how they can help create a school where no one feels left out and everyone feels safe to be themselves.
No Outsiders Day isn’t just about learning; it’s about living our values. It’s a chance for our whole school to celebrate diversity, challenge stereotypes, and strengthen the sense of community that makes our environment so special. By the end of the day, pupils leave with a deeper understanding of how their actions can make a positive difference and how they can help ensure that, in our school, there truly are no outsiders.
